"Undone" - a short film about Alzheimer's disease

Regular readers will know that this is essentially a humorous blog, reflecting the daily trials and tribulations of a South African nurse working in a very poor part of England within the NHS whilst trying to maintain his own humanity.

Occasionally I go 'off topic' and this is one of those times...
...I see so many patients and their families who are affected by dementia in all of its manifestations and guises...
...it is becoming the defining illness for our times with no cure in sight...
...and in the end, when medicine fails and social services are short of cash, it always goes back to the family and the care that they will choose,-or not-, to provide.

I subscribe to a weekly newsletter called "Brain Pickings" and this short film was contained in the last newsletter.
It was made by Hayley Morris  and was inspired by her grandfather and
" captures with tender abstraction the progression of Alzheimer’s disease."

Remembering my dad tonight.
